How long is a portrait session?

Your professional portrait session is a chance to celebrate and treat yourself. The day of your photo shoot should be filled with comfort, relaxation, enjoyment, and maybe even a little self-indulgence. You might schedule a spa treatment to coincide, or a lavish brunch. Or both, and more.

I respectfully request that you arrive at the scheduled time agreed upon during or after your design consultation – where we discuss your desires for your portraiture, your style, palette, wardrobe, and what types of artwork you wish to own, to tailor the personalized session of your dreams. This provides the foundation so we can explore your vision and create freely and comfortably. We’ve set this time aside just for you, and we want it to be as fun and as fulfilling as possible.

After arriving, you’ll revel in being pampered by my expert hair and makeup team, listening to music, laughing, with drink in hand. Then I’ll guide you through a series of looks for the camera based upon how you’ve chosen to be photographed. During your shoot, I’ll guide you with expert lighting and posing to capture all the wonderful nuance and brilliance of you at your brightest and best. In all, we’ll spend about three hours together making memories and stunning portraits you’ll cherish forever.

You’ll see how amazing you look, how amazing you are, and you’ll realize how amazing you feel. Then you might want to go out and show it off. You’ll have time to enjoy a favorite eatery, or a night on the town. You might hit the dance floor in a glamorous look. It’s your day, and we want to make it something special. An experience you’ll never forget, and precious images of the moment you will love for a lifetime.
